Upcoming Fundraisers:
Friday May 20th - Sunday May 22nd, 2011 - The 4th Annual Mark A Kreusch Memorial Youth Baseball Tournament at Action Sports Center - Dayton, OH More information
Friday June 24th, 2011 - The MAK Memorial Fund is once again hosting the 100 Holes of Golf MAK-A-Thon! The event was such a success last year, and we heard from so many who wanted to participate again this year. Last year the golfers had a terrific time, finished their 100 holes much ahead of schedule, and raised a lot of funds that are now being used to positively impact the lives of children.

This year's event will be held on June 24, 2011, and golf will once again be played at Sebastian Hills Golf Club in Jamestown, Ohio. Golfers will actually be playing 100 holes of golf in one day! Prior to the event, they will ask friends and family to sponsor them on a per hole basis (or just a one-time pledge). We hope for the fundraiser to make $36,000. To achieve this goal, each golfer is asked to raise at least $1,000 in donations. (You can always choose a higher dollar goal!) The Mark Kreusch Advisory committee will be helping golfers achieve their specific goal. We are asking you to be a golfer in this event! Are you up for the challenge? Our challenge to you is to not only play 100 holes of golf in one day, but to raise as much money as possible in pledges. After all, you receive 5+ rounds of golf, 3 meals, and the satisfaction of helping raise money for the youth in the Dayton community! Your goal is to raise at least $1,000. There is no registration fee. If interested in golfing, please send an email to kimschimpf@yahoo.com . To make a donation, go to the donations tab on this website. Currently, we have 29 golfers for the 2011 MAK-A-Thon. Take the challenge and join this energetic and enthusiastic group of people! You are guaranteed to have fun!

Past Fundraisers:
July 16, 2010 - 100 Holes of Golf
The MAK-A-Thon 100 Holes of Golf was a huge success! This day was so much fun for all of those involved! Golfing started at 7am on July 16, 2010 and each golfer successfully completed 100 holes of golf in less than 10 hours. With 30 participants, that is 3,000 holes in one day! Mark certainly played a role in making this day extra-special. The weather was perfect and we even had a player, Parker Mays, get a HOLE IN ONE on hole number 8 ! A special congratulations to Parker Mays! Sebastian Hills Golf Club was a wonderful place to have this outing as they were more than accommodating to our group. All golfers completed their 100 holes by 5:00pm, even with a few playing more than 100 holes. We are so proud to know these amazing people and cannot begin to explain how much we admire their commitment to making this event such a success!
This event would not be possible without the golfers. Thanks to the fundraising efforts of the golfers, they were able to collectively raise over $50,000.00!! Because of this we will be able to reach out to even more children in our community and fulfill our mission of enriching the lives of children.
Special thanks to our volunteers and vendors for the day. (WG Grinders, Home City Tent, Helm's Distributors, Dayton School of Medical Massage and Tyler Clark)
A congratulations dinner ,catered by Little Miami River Catering, was held after the 100 holes were completed. The golfers were able to relax and have complimentary massages from the Dayton School of Medical Massage. The massages were greatly appreciated after their long day of golf!
Once again we cannot thank the golfers and donors enough for their support of the MARK A. KREUSCH MEMORIAL FUND. Congratulations on a job well done!
If interested in participating in the next MAK-A-Thon, please contact us at info@markkreusch.com.
The Mark A. Kreusch Memorial Fund would like to thank the 100 Holes of Golf Mak-a-thon golfers in advance for their time and efforts!

May 2008 - Giving Heart
The Giving Heart event was held at Eno Vino's in Madison, WI in May of 2008. The idea for this Sunday afternoon event came from four women who wanted to honor Mark's memory by raising money for the MAK Foundation. Champagne and flat breads were served as guests were invited to purchase items from different vendors and bid on silent auction items, with proceeds going to the Foundation. The incredible success of this event was a great tribute to Mark. The warmth of his smile and memory reached out to over 200 people he had never met and inspired them to support the very worthy causes that the MAK Foundation supports.
Several people with giving and generous hearts made this special event possible. Items that were available for purchase included:
* Handmade Jewelry, including a special "Mark" necklace by Jewelry by Shaney
* Arbonne Skin Care, represented by Beth Malcook
* Unique Decored Mirrors and Platters, by Kelly Hughes Artistry
* Note cards with art prints, by Rebecca Peragigne, Art and Philanthropy
